history

In the second half of the 13th century, the Saar Cistercian monastery built a farmyard on the monastery area to the right of the Bobrůvka. In 1407 Radešín was listed in the Saar Urbar as a monastic fiefdom owned by Jan von Radešín, followed by Buzek von Radešín in the 1450s. In 1597 the monastery finally sold the farm to Samuel Radešínský of Radešovice. The village of Bobrůvka was connected to it at that time . Radešínský expanded the courtyard into a Renaissance seat and established the chateau brewery on the courtyard. In 1600 Jan Radešínský († 1603) acquired the Mitrov rule from the estate of Paul Katharyn von Katharn. Mitrov's descendants sold in 1606 to Petr Čížovský von Čížov and the following year Radešín to Cardinal Franz Xaver von Dietrichstein . After his death, his brother Maximilian von Dietrichstein inherited the property. He sold the Radešín domain to the Saar monastery in 1638. In 1684 the Saar Abbot Benedict II. Zaunmüller had the buildings repaired, a house chapel set up and a deep well built. The abbot Václav Vejmluva had Johann Blasius Santini-Aichl redesign the castle into a baroque residence between 1706 and 1710 . The castle renovation was Santini's first commission, which he received from Vejmluva. Others followed, including the Zelená Hora pilgrimage church .

After the abolition of the monastery in the course of the Josephine reforms , Radešín fell to the Saar lordship's religious fund in 1784. This was transferred to the Imperial and Royal Disposal Commission for the State Property. The Saar domain was divided into five parts and in 1826 the Radešín domain was sold to the Liechtenstein economic councilor František Schneider from Brno . Included were u. a. Zvole , Svratka and Bobrůvka.

After the abolition of patrimonial Radešín formed from 1850 a district of the community Unter Bobrau in the Neustadtl district . In 1887 the political municipality of Radešín was established. In 1949 the community was assigned to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou in the course of the dissolution of the Okres Nové Město na Moravě .

  • Radešín Castle, the former Renaissance seat of the Radešínský family, was rebuilt in baroque style from 1706–1710 by Johann Blasius Santini-Aichl . In 1827, under František Schneider, a classicistic redesign and the creation of the large castle park took place. After the Second World War, the castle was confiscated in 1945 from the property of the Dure family, who belonged to Schneider's descendants. Until the end of the 1980s the castle belonged to the state property in Křižanov . After the Velvet Revolution, the neglected building was privatized in 2005 after 20 years of vacancy. The Kubíček family intends to renovate it and use it as a "balloon castle" in the future (Radešín is a popular meeting place for balloonists ).
