Vysoké (German Wisoky , 1939–45: Wissoken , Hochdorf , Wisoke ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located three kilometers northeast of Žďár nad Sázavou and belongs to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou .
geography
Vysoké is located in the south of the Saar Mountains on a hill between the valleys of the Staviště, Sázava and Pernička streams. The Kříbek (709 m) rises to the northeast, the Zlatá horka (640 m) to the east, the Zelená hora (611 m) and the Černý les (648 m) to the west.
Neighboring towns are Světnov in the north, Výstupek and Počítky in the north-east, Lhotka in the east, Veselíčko in the south-east, Plíčky and Mělkovice in the south, Žďár nad Sázavou in the south-west, Pohod, Lyra and Jordánek in the west and Stržanov and Pod Strží in the north-west.
history
The village was founded in the second half of the 14th century. The first written mention of the village of Vysoké, which belongs to the Saar Cistercian monastery , took place in 1407 under the Latin name Alta Villa (translated high village). The first place seal dates from 1667.
After the abolition of patrimonial Vysoké formed a community in the political district of Neustadtl from 1850 . In 1949 Vysoké was assigned to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou . In 1961 it was incorporated into Počítky and between 1980 and 1991 the village was incorporated into Žďár nad Sázavou. The community has had a coat of arms since 2007.
