history

Radinaves was first mentioned in writing in 1264. In 1269, Smil von Lichtenburg donated the village to the Saar Cistercian monastery . Radňoves became part of the Křižanov estate in the middle of the 14th century . Henricus de Ossaw sold the village to Hroznata von Cholův in 1365. The following owners were the Vladiken von Radňoves at the end of the 14th century . In 1589 the goods were attached to the Mitrov rule. After the Battle of White Mountain , Mitrov was confiscated. Thereafter, Johann Jacob Graf Magnis acquired the rule and attached it to Moravec . In 1630 Magnis sold the lordship to the Bergamesco family. They sold these to Franz Josef Freiherr von Toussaint auf Schönau in 1756 . His son Philipp, who inherited the property in 1772, squandered his money in Vienna . Until 1848 Radňoves remained attached to Mitrov. The residents lived from agriculture. It is believed that wagon grease was also produced in the village, because the residents of Radňoves are given the nickname kolomazníci (wagon grease ).

After the abolition of patrimonial Radňoves formed from 1850 a community in the district administration Groß Meseritsch in Iglauer Kreis. In 1869 there were 231 people in Radňoves. The village school was established in 1874. In 1894 the Vidonín and Radňoves volunteer fire brigade was founded . In 1880 the village had 217 inhabitants and in 1900 there were 196. In 1927 both fire departments separated. In the same year, the Radňoves fire brigade acquired a horse-drawn and hand-operated four-wheel pressure and suction syringe that is still operational today. From 1949 the municipality belonged to the Okres Velká Bíteš. At the beginning of 1961 the village was assigned to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou . Between 1971 and 1990 Radňoves was incorporated into Vidonín .

The village gained national fame through its fire fighting competitions. Every June there is a competition for the Radňoves fire brigade's trophy. Another competition took place in August in historical fire extinguishing technology.
