Sazomín (German Sasomin , older also Sesemin ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located seven kilometers southeast of Žďár nad Sázavou and belongs to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou .
geography
Sazomín is located in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands below the confluence of the Hornovský creek on the Oslava . The state road I / 37 from Žďár nad Sázavou to Křižanov runs through the village . The Havlíčkův Brod - Tišnov railway line runs to the east . In the east rise the Skály (629 m) and Na Kopci (589 m), west of the Zemanův Kopec (558 m).
Neighboring towns are Jámy and Hlinné in the northeast, Řečice and Hodíškov in the east, Obyčtov in the southeast, Ostrov nad Oslavou in the south, Kotlasy in the southwest, Březí nad Oslavou and Nové Veselí in the west and Budeč and Radonín in the northwest.
history
The village was probably established in the second half of the 13th century as part of the colonization activities of the Křižanov rule and named its locator Sezema. Sesemin was first mentioned in documents in 1317 when Jan von Meziříčí donated the village to the Saar Cistercian monastery .
After the abolition of patrimonial Sazomín formed a municipality in the political district of Neustadtl from 1850 . The school was built in 1925. In 1929 and 1930 the trunk road between Ždírec nad Doubravou and Velká Bíteš was built . Since 1949 the community has belonged to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou . In the 1970s the school was closed. In 1980 it was incorporated into Žďár nad Sázavou . The municipality of Sazomín has existed again since 1990. Sazomín carries a coat of arms and a banner.
