Pikárec (German Pikaretz ) is a municipality in the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou in the Vysočina region of the Czech Republic.
The parish covers an area of 8.45 square kilometers and has a population of 321 (as of October 2, 2006).
Pikárec is located about 20 kilometers southeast of Žďár nad Sázavou, 39 km east of Jihlava and 142 km southeast of Prague.
The name of the place should be derived from the medieval German name Pikhart in the sense of Pikharts (village owned by Pikhart).
