Býšovec (German Bischowetz , also Pischowetz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located six kilometers south of Bystřice nad Pernštejnem and belongs to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou .

geography

Býšovec is located on a ridge between the Nedvědička and Svratka valleys in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . The stream Žlebský potok rises in the village and to the west of it the Janovický potok. The Babylon (626 m) rises in the northeast, the Dlouhá skála (610 m) to the south and the Nad Drahami (631 m) in the southwest.

Neighboring towns are Věchnov and Vrtěžíř in the north, Lískovec in the northeast, Kovářová in the east, Nedvědice and Smrček in the southeast, Bor in the south, Věžná and Jabloňov in the southwest, Pernštejnské Janovice and Josefov in the west and Zlatkov in the northwest.

history

The first written mention of the village of Býšovec, which belonged to the Pernštejn domain , was in 1350.

After the abolition of patrimonial Byšovec formed a community in the Neustadtl district from 1850 . In 1880 the village consisted of 23 houses and had 180 inhabitants. In Byšovec there was a one-class village school. The place was parish after Nedvědice. At the beginning of the 20th century, the spelling of the place name changed to Býšovec . During this time, residents of Býšovec and Smrček emigrated to Paraguay . In 1949 the community was assigned to the Okres Bystřice nad Pernštejnem. 1961 Smrček was incorporated. The Nedvědice ski club built the first drag lift on the Nutrie downhill run in 1968/69. In 2000 the district of Býšovec had 89 inhabitants and in Smrček there were 51.

The Žlebský potok valley to the east of Býšovec is a winter sports area with two ski lifts.

The municipality Býšovec consists of the districts Býšovec ( Bischowetz ) and Smrček ( Smrczek ), which also form cadastral districts.
