history
The first written mention of the church in Zvole took place in 1307. In 1360, Hynek von Ronow can be proven as the owner of goods in Zvole. In 1365 there was a free farm, which, including the associated three hooves and two chalets, belonged to Ondřej von Zvole, and from 1488 a fortress is documented. In 1483 Zvole consisted of 23 properties and two mills. The place was split up under different owners due to inheritance divisions. The largest shares held Čeněk von Zvole and the pastor Petr von Zvole. Petr bequeathed his part to the Saar Cistercian monastery in 1492 on the condition that he would hold an annual memorial service . The following year, Čeněk sold his part to the monastery. Zvole then belonged together with Branišov to the Saar monastery estates until the abolition of the monastery in 1784. After that, the Zvoler estates were administered by the Religious Fund and later attached to the Radešín rule . In 1782 a peasant uprising broke out in the area, which was directed against the unbearable burdens and the parish tithes. In 1834, 614 people lived in Zvole's 88 houses.
After the abolition of patrimonial, Zvola formed a community in the Neustadtl district from 1850 with the Olešínky district . In 1877 Olešínky became independent. Zvole consisted of 96 houses in 1900 and 692 people lived in them. Except for 22 Protestants, all of them belonged to the Catholic denomination. In 1947 the community was assigned to the Okres Bystřice nad Pernštejnem in the course of the dissolution of the Okres Nové Město na Moravě. Since 1961 it belongs to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou , at the same time Branišov and Olešínky were incorporated.
