history
The first settlement took place in the early Stone Age . The place then grew, after the construction of Dub Castle (earlier it had the name Mug Mountain) into a small town. The castle was first mentioned in a document in 1233.
In 1551, the sons of Johann von Pernstein sold the Tasov estate with the small town of Tasov, the villages of Kamenná and Oslava, as well as the desert mug mountain to Katharina von Sternberg . This sold the property in 1552 to Georg Mrakesch von Noskau on Budišov . In 1560 the Tasov manor was added to the Budišov rule and remained a permanent part of it.
At the beginning of the 19th century, the landlord Joachim von Stettenhofen had the town expanded; New houses were built below the farm, along the road to Budišov and in the Polomina valley leading to Komárov.
Until January 1, 2007 the place was in the Okres Třebíč .
