Sklené nad Oslavou (German Skleny , also Sklenne ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 15 kilometers north of Velké Meziříčí and belongs to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou .

geography

The village is located on the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . The state road 37 runs through the village. Sklené nad Oslavou has a train station on the Žďár nad Sázavou - Křižanov line . Lake Velký Podvesník is located on the northern edge of the village.

Neighboring towns are Bohdalec and Radešín in the north, Bobrůvka in the northeast, Pikárec in the east, Radenice in the southeast, Cyrilov in the south, Bory in the southwest, Krásněves in the west and Rousměrov in the northwest. Contrary to its place name, Sklené nad Oslavou is not on the Oslava , the river is six kilometers southwest.
