Ronald Schminke
Ronald Schminke (born November 26, 1956 in Hann. Münden ) is a politician of the SPD . From 2008 to 2017 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament . He lives in Gimte, is married and has two children.
Life and work
Schminke grew up in Gimte (today a district of Hann. Münden) and still lives there. He attended secondary school and trained as a bricklayer. After a few years in the business, he was elected chairman of the works council of a construction company. In 1980 he married his wife Annie, with whom he has two sons. In 1987 he was given the opportunity to complete a trade union course at the University of Frankfurt am Main on a second educational path . He works as a managing director at IG Bauen-Agrar-Umwelt and has been released from work since March 2008 due to his state parliament mandate.
politics
Ronald Schminke was a member of the Göttingen district council from 1991 to 2016. There he sat for the SPD parliamentary group in the finance committee.
In the state elections in Lower Saxony in 2008 , he was able to prevail in constituency 16 Göttingen / Münden as a direct candidate with 44% of the votes against the previous constituency member Harald Noack (politician, 1945) . With his state list position 73, he would not have entered the state parliament. Schminke is the spokesman for his group for forestry in the state parliament. In the state elections in Lower Saxony in 2013 , he was again able to assert himself as a direct candidate with 45% of the votes against the CDU opponent in constituency 16 Göttingen / Münden . In addition to party politics, Schminke is active in various social and development associations.
