Ždánice (German Schdanitz , also Zdanitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located three kilometers north of Bystřice nad Pernštejnem and belongs to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou .
geography
Ždánice is located on the left side above the valley of the Bystřice in the basin of the creek Ždánický potok in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . The Aueršperk castle ruins are to the east and the Vír I dam to the north . To the northeast rises the Přední skála (712 m).
Neighboring towns are Vítochov and Karasín in the north, Hrdá Ves and Vír in the northeast, Jitřenka in the east, Dvořiště in the southeast, Bystřice nad Pernštejnem and Domanínek in the south, Domanín in the southwest and Janovičky and Písečné in the northwest.
history
The place was first mentioned in 1220, when the U Ždánic forest was listed as the property of the Bystřice parish . The first documentary mention of the village is the lifelong transfer of all income from Ždánice by Štěpán from Pernstein's daughter Zdeslava to the parish in Bystřice in 1287.
After the abolition of patrimonial Ždánice formed a community in the Neustadtl district from 1850 . In 1949 the community came to Okres Bystřice nad Pernštejnem and in 1961 to Okres Žďár nad Sázavou . In 1980 it was incorporated into Bystřice nad Pernštejnem. The Ždánice municipality has existed again since 1992.
