The Bystřice is a right tributary of the Svratka in the Czech Republic .

course

The Bystřice rises south of Koníkov and Roženecké Paseky at the foot of the Kamenec ( 780  m ) in the Saar mountains . The stream initially flows through the forests of the Žďárské vrchy protected landscape area to the southeast. It is then dammed at Lísek in Skalský rybník and at Bohuňov in Domaninský rybník. The Bystřice valley is largely uninhabited as far as Domanínek

On its middle course, the Bystřice flows through the urban area of Bystřice nad Pernštejnem in an easterly direction .

Below the town, the Bystřice takes a north-easterly direction. The stream runs on the lower course in a narrow deep valley with numerous bends and loops past Dvořiště , the castle ruins Aueršperk , Jitřenka through the Nedvědická vrchovina. In the lowest section of the Bystřice valley, the village of Hrdá Ves extends at the eastern foot of the Přední skála ( 716  m ). After 26.2 km the stream in Vír flows into the Svratka at the bridge of the state road II / 388 - below the Vír I dam .
