Bell tower of the Assumption

Oslavička (German Klein Woslawitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located six kilometers southwest of Velké Meziříčí and belongs to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou .

geography

Oslavička is located in the valley basin of the Oslavička river in the Krischanauer Uplands ( Křižanovská vrchovina ) in the south of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . To the south rise the Hodovská horka (581 m) and the Vlčatínský vrch (589 m), in the southwest of the Telečkov (604 m). The railway line from Náměšť nad Oslavou to Velké Meziříčí runs through the village . Oslavička is located in the Třebíčsko Nature Park.

Neighboring towns are Ovčírna in the north, Oslavice and Osové in the north-east, Nesměř and Rohy in the east, Hodov in the south-east, Rudíkov in the south, Vlčatín in the south-west, Nový Telečkov in the west and Baliny in the north-west.

history

The first written mention of the village Oslauiczka and the fortress took place in 1360, when Vít von Oslavičky gave half of the village to his wife Markéta. In 1361 Vít sold the farm and four Hufen on the Bláha von Oslavičky. His son Petr was able to unite the goods again in his hand. In 1406 he sold part of his property to Zdeňek von Oslavice. In the same year Svachov Teleč von Oslavičky bought the Allodialhof including the fortress and the associated meadows, forests and the mill. In 1412 Petr Svachov also bought the village from Petr von Oslavičky. Svachov sold the Oslawiczka estate to Johann Langast von Věstoňov in 1447 , who passed it on to Mikuláš von Manov. Manov lived in the fortress until 1466, after which the village Oslawiczky , the fortress and the farm Zich and Mikuláš von Jemničky belonged. The latter bought the Benedín estate in 1481 and attached it to Oslavičky. In 1560, Sigmund Held von Kement Oslavičky bought it and added it to his rule Meziříčí . From 1591 the place was called Woslawiczka Mala and between 1678 and 1718 it was passed down as Klein Woslawitz .

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Malá Voslavice / Small Woslawitz 1850 a district of the political community Rudíkov in the district administration Velké Meziříčí. Later the village was also called Malá Oslavice . Since 1924 the place has been called Oslavička . At the beginning of 1961 Oslavičky was umgemeindet after Nový Telečkov in Okres Třebíč . In 1990 the Oslavička community was established. Since January 1st 2007 it belongs to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou .
