Rovečné (German Rowetschin ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located five kilometers northwest of Olešnice and belongs to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou .

geography

Rovečné is located in a valley through which the Tresný potok flows in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . The Moravian village is located south of the historical border between Moravia and Bohemia . To the north rises the Kamenec (698 m), in the southeast of the Dolní Kopec (611 m), to the west of the Bukovec (707 m) and in the northwest of the Horní les ( Oberwald , 774 m).

Neighboring towns are Nyklovice in the north, Hlásnice and Trpín in the northeast, Velké Tresné in the east, Malé Tresné in the southeast, Bolešín in the south, Věstínek and Věstín in the southwest, Chlum and Korouhvice in the west and Dudkovice, Polom and Sulkovec in the northwest.

history

The village was created during the colonization of the border forests between Moravia and Bohemia. It was first mentioned in a document in 1335, when Sister Jeruše von Ausperg brought the place into the Augustinian monastery of Doubravník . After the destruction of the monastery by the Hussites , Rovečné came back to the Lords of Pernstein. In 1590, Rovečné was sold together with eleven other villages in the area and incorporated into the Kunstadt dominion , to which it belonged until 1848. According to the Josephine tolerance patent , a Protestant prayer house and cemetery were built in 1784. In 1785 a Protestant school also opened. The evangelical parish was initially parish to Prosetín and received its own pastor in 1812. A new Protestant schoolhouse was built next to the prayer house in 1825, which served as the Protestant pastor's office from 1882 to 1947.

After the abolition of patrimonial Rověčín formed from 1850 a municipality in the Boskovice district . The municipality name Rovečné has been used since 1921 . In 1949 the community came to Okres Bystřice nad Pernštejnem. In 1961 Malé Tresné and Velké Tresné were incorporated and the municipality assigned to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou . 1973 Věstín and Věstínek and 1976 Nyklovice were added as districts. With the exception of Malé Tresné, the incorporated localities gradually opted for independence again from 1990 onwards.

Local division

The municipality Rovečné consists of the districts Malé Tresné ( Klein Tresna ) and Rovečné ( Rowetschin ), which also form cadastral districts. Rovečné also includes the one-layer Dudkovice.
