history
The place was probably founded at the end of the 13th century by the Třebíč Monastery and belonged to the property of the Měřín Provostry . Zhorec was first mentioned in a document in 1466 when Heinrich Woyk von Wildbach acquired the village. After that, Zhorec was mortgaged to the Lords of Pavlov. In 1491 Wilhelm II of Pernstein bought the place and added it to his rule Měřín. Vratislav von Pernstein sold Zhorec in 1557 to Jan the Elder. Ä. Stránecký von Stránec, who gave it to his rule Zhoř . In 1729 Zhoř and all its accessories were bought by the Velké Meziříčí rule. At the end of the 18th century the place name was preceded by the predicate Zadní . Until 1848 Zadní Zhorec remained subservient to Velké Meziříčí.
After the replacement of patrimonial Zadní Zhorec formed from 1850 a district of Netín in the district administration Velké Meziříčí . In 1922 the village of Zadní Zhořec was established . In 1961 it was assigned to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou . 1980 Zadní Zhořec was incorporated into Radostín nad Oslavou . The community has existed again since 1990 and since 2003 it has had a coat of arms and a banner.
