history

The first written mention of the village of Nebstich , which belonged to the Meziříčí lordship , was in 1359. The name of the place is derived from Neustift . At the beginning of the 15th century the village was sold to the Lords of Tasov . Other owners included u. a. Zikmund of Chlévský. In the 19th century the village was attached to the Náměšť rule .

After the abolition of patrimonial Nebstich formed from 1850 a municipality in the district administration Velké Meziříčí. The name Nebštych was later used. In 1900 Nebštych had 204 inhabitants and consisted of 35 houses and three household groups . The entire village was destroyed in the major fire of 1904. As a result, the Nebštych Volunteer Fire Brigade was founded in 1907 . In 1924 it was renamed Nové Sady , which is the Czech translation for Neustift . In 1949 the community came to Okres Velká Bíteš, and at the beginning of 1961 it was assigned to Okres Žďár nad Sázavou . Between 1980 and 1991 Nové Sady was incorporated into Velká Bíteš. In 1992 the community came into being again. Today the village consists of 72 residential buildings.
