Košíkov (German Koschkow ) is a district of the city of Velká Bíteš in the Czech Republic . It is located three kilometers south of Velká Bíteš and belongs to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou .

geography

Košíkov is located on a plateau in the Křižanovská vrchovina ( Krischanauer Upland ) in the south of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . State road II / 395 between Velká Bíteš and Rosice runs through Košíkov; The D 1 motorway runs north . The Chvojnice rises in the village , southeast of the Ludvíkovský potok. In the south rises the Ramaška (530 m nm). The forest area of ​​Černé lesy ( Black Forest ) extends to the east and the Košíkovský les ( Koschkower Forest ) to the west .

The village was first mentioned in 1318 under the name Goschicaw , when Vladike Mikul von Zbraslav gave the Cistercian abbey Vallis Sanctae Mariae in Oslavany the tithe of several localities. In the middle of the 14th century the village belonged to the Meziříčí rule . In 1356 Johann von Meziříčí prescribed his wife Anna von Sternberg an interest on the villages of Kosikow and Neustift . In 1365 he changed the prescription to the villages of Kosikow , Rudikau , Hroznětin , Neustift and Zablate ; he also lent his wife the village of Zahradka and forests for their need for firewood and construction wood. In 1387 Johann von Meziříčí moved the Wittum of Stach's wife from Studnitz to Kosikow , after Stach's death in 1390 she took on her sons in community. In 1420 the village of Kossykow belonged to the Ctibor of Janowic , who sold it to his brother Johann. In 1480 Waněk von Panow sold the village to Johann von Račina, who immediately passed it on to Georg von Mukoděl. From 1493 Košíkov belonged to the Jeneschau estate . At the beginning of the 16th century, Ctibor von Wranow sold the village to Zbyněk Kralický von Kralitz. In 1510 he entered into a community of property with Wilhelm von Pernstein over his property in Hluboky and Košíkov. Wilhelm's son Johann von Pernstein sold the Košíkov estate in 1526 together with his share from Hluboky and Kuroslepy as well as half of the church patronage in Březník to the owner of the Namiest estate , Wenceslaus von Lomnitz . In the 17th century the village was called Koschikow .

In 1837 the village Koschkow or Kossjkow in the Znojmo district consisted of 36 houses in which 253 people lived. There was the daughter church of St. Bartholomäus, a stately farm and an inn; apart was a hunter's house. The parish was Bitesch . Until the middle of the 19th century Koschkow remained subject to the Fideikommissgrafschaft Namiest.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Koskov / Koschkow 1849 with the hamlet Ludwigsdorf a municipality in the judicial district Namiest . From 1869 Koškov belonged to the Trebitsch district. At that time the village had 276 inhabitants and consisted of 36 houses. In 1896 Koškov was reclassified to the district of Groß Meseritsch and the judicial district of Groß Bittesch . In 1900 there were 234 people in Koškov ; In 1910 there were 225. In the 1921 census, 300 people lived in the 52 houses of the community, including 298 Czechs and one German; the core town Koškov consisted of 38 houses with 225 inhabitants, including 223 Czechs and one German. The place name was changed to Košíkov in 1924 , as was that of the district Ludwigsdorf in Ludvíkov . In 1930 Košíkov consisted of 46 houses and 260 inhabitants. Between 1939 and 1945 Košíkov / Koschkow belonged to the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia . In 1948 the village was assigned to the Okres Velká Bíteš. In 1950 Košíkov had 214 inhabitants. In the course of the territorial reform and the repeal of the Okres Velká Bíteš Košíkov was assigned to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou on July 1, 1960 . In 1961 it was incorporated into Velká Bíteš. In the 2001 census, 165 people lived in the 67 houses in Košíkov. At the beginning of 2013 the village had 177 inhabitants.
