Jindřichov (German Heinrichsdorf ) is a district of the city of Velká Bíteš in the Czech Republic . It is located four kilometers southwest of Velká Bíteš and belongs to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou .

geography

Jindřichov is located in the Křižanovská vrchovina ( Krischanauer Uplands ) in the south of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . The village, surrounded on three sides by forests, is located on a plateau between the valleys of the Jestřábský potok and Jindřichovský potok. The D 1 motorway runs north .

Neighboring towns are Demáčky, Nové Sady and Lánice in the north, Velká Bíteš, Janovice and Otmarov in the north-east, Košíkov in the east, Ludvíkov , Stanoviště , Krokočín and Hluboké in the south-east, Křemelík and Jinošov in the south, Pucov and Jasenice in the south-west and Časenice in the south-west Holubí Zhoř , Březka and Jestřabí in the northwest.

history

Heinrichsdorf was founded in 1780 together with Ludwigsdorf ( Ludvíkov ) by the owner of the lordship of Namiest , Karl Wilhelm Sigismund Graf von Haugwitz . The village is one of several colonies that were newly founded on manorial corridors in the 18th century, with which the inhabitants of the overpopulated old villages should be offered a sufficient livelihood. The alley village Heinrichsdorf was built on the western edge of the manorial Koschkower Forest ( Košíkovský les ) and was equipped with only a small field. Along the Angers, 21 gabled timbered houses of the same design with a front garden and a small stable were built. The colony was named in honor of Haugwitz's only son Heinrich Wilhelm. At a later date barns were built behind the houses.

In 1837 the village Heinrichsdorf or Gindřichow in the Znojmo district consisted of 22 houses in which 142 people lived. The parish and school location was Jeneschau . Heinrichsdorf remained subject to Fideikommissgrafschaft Namiest until the middle of the 19th century .

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Jindřichov / Heinrichsdorf 1849 a district of the municipality Jesenice in the judicial district Namiest . From 1869 Jindřichov belonged to the Trebitsch district. At that time the village had 153 inhabitants and consisted of 23 houses. In 1892 Březka , Jestřabí and Jindřichov broke away from Jesenice and formed the municipality of Březka. In 1896 Jindřichov was reclassified to the district of Groß Meseritsch and the judicial district of Groß Bittesch . In 1900 there were 153 people living in Jindřichov; In 1910 there were 145. In 1920 the village Jindřichov was established, to which the district Jestřabí belonged. In the 1921 census, 231 Czechs lived in the 40 houses of the community; in the 26 houses of Jindřichov there were 148. In 1930 Jindřichov consisted of 27 houses and had 129 inhabitants. Between 1939 and 1945 Jindřichov / Heinrichsdorf belonged to the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia . In 1948 the municipality was assigned to the Okres Velká Bíteš. In 1950 Jindřichov had 117 inhabitants. In the course of the regional reform and the repeal of the Okres Velká Bíteš, the municipality was assigned to the Okres Ž ár nad Sázavou on July 1, 1960 . On July 1, 1980 it was incorporated into Velká Bíteš. In the 2001 census, there were 84 people living in Jindřichov's 27 houses. At the beginning of 2010 the village had 77 inhabitants.
