Bezděkov (German Enkenfurt ) is a district of the city of Velká Bíteš in the Czech Republic . It is located four kilometers northwest of Velká Bíteš and belongs to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou .

geography

Bezděkov is located on the right side above the valley of the Bítýška on a plateau in the Křižanovská vrchovina ( Krischanauer Upland ) in the south of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . To the north rises the Duforty (561 m nm), in the south of the Chocholáč (516 m nm) and southwest of the Koní vrch (526 m nm). State road II / 602 runs on the southern outskirts between Velká Bíteš and Velké Meziříčí , with the D 1 motorway behind it .

Neighboring towns are Záblatí and Osová Bítýška in the north, Vlkov , Na Královce, Radostínský Mlyn, Březské and Křižínkov in the Northeast, Krevlický Dvůr, Rasovna and Křoví the east, Nové Sady , Košíkov and Demáčky the southeast, Jestřabí , Jasenice and Březka in the south, Holubí Zhoř in the southwest, Jáchymov in the west and Křeptovský Dvůr and Ruda in the northwest.

history

The first written mention of the Wezdichow manor took place in 1355 when Mikuláš von Bezděkov sold the property to Jindřich von Loučky. The Bezděkov manor was the seat of the Bezděkov Zemanen ; a village of the same name was never mentioned. In 1371 Jindřich von Bezděkov signed half of the farm to his wife Anna as a morning gift . Jan von Bezděkov sold the farm to Václav and Jan von Křenářov in 1378 . Later, various Vladiken and Zemanen families took turns as owners of Bezděkov. In 1466, Mikuláš von Zhoř left part of the farm to Matěj von Březí. Between 1481 and 1504 Jan von Bezděkov and Otěchleby is documented as the owner of the farm. After the nearby village of Otěchleby fell, the Lords of Otěchleby held the Bezděkov manor for a century. In 1539 Matěj Ryšaví was listed as the owner; In 1604 it belonged to Pavel and Tobiáš Ryšaví. The Bezděkov farm died out during the Thirty Years' War, and Johann Baptist Verda von Verdenberg closed the corridors of his county of Namiest .

In 1737 the owner of the County of Namiest, Wenzel Adrian von Enkevoirt , founded the Enkenfurth colony named after him on the Bezděkov corridors . The place was laid out as a lane village with a bell tower and a pond. The children attended school in Groß Bittesch . 1805 Enkenfurt was retrained as a replacement for Březí to Ossowa Bittischka .

In 1837 the village of Enkenfurt in the Znojmo district next to Iglauer Poststraße consisted of 18 houses in which 146 people lived. There was an inn on Poststrasse. The parish and school location was Groß Bittesch. Until the middle of the 19th century, Enkenfurt remained subordinate to the Fideikommissgrafschaft Namiest.

After the abolition of patrimonial Enkenfurt formed a community in the judicial district of Groß Bittesch from 1849 . From 1869 Enkenfurt belonged to the Groß Meseritsch district . At that time the village had 145 inhabitants and consisted of 22 houses. In 1900 there were 142 people living in Enkenfurt ; In 1910 there were 125. In the 1921 census, 106 people lived in the 22 houses of the municipality, 105 of them Czechs. In 1930 Enkenfurt consisted of 23 houses and had 116 inhabitants. In 1931 the municipality was given the new Czech name Bezděkov . Between 1939 and 1945 Bezděkov / Enkenfurt belonged to the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia . In 1948 the municipality was assigned to the Okres Velká Bíteš. In 1950 Bezděkov had 96 inhabitants. In the course of the regional reform and the repeal of the Okres Velká Bíteš, the municipality was assigned to the Okres Ž ár nad Sázavou on July 1, 1960 . On July 1, 1980 it was incorporated into Velká Bíteš. In the 2001 census, there were 58 people in the 29 houses in Bezděkov. At the beginning of 2010 the village had 62 inhabitants.
