Hroznatín (German Hrosnatin , also Hrozniatin ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located ten kilometers north of Třebíč and belongs to the Okres Třebíč .

geography

Hroznatín is located on a knoll on the left side above the valley of the Oslavička river in the Krischanauer Uplands ( Křižanovská vrchovina ) in the south of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . The hill Babí hora (606 m) rises to the north.

Neighboring towns are Batouchovice in the north, Nový Telečkov in the northeast, Vlčatín and Rudíkov in the east, Přeckov in the south, Horní Vilémovice and Benetice in the west and Svatoslav in the north-west.

history

The first written mention of the village was made in 1365 by Jan von Meziříč as a dowry for his wife Anna von Sternberg . Georg von Krawarn on Meziříč signed Hroznatín over to Mikuláš von Nárameč in 1447. The following owner was from 1453 Ondřej Něpr from Oslavice on Pozďatín . In 1497 Zikmund Valecký von Mírov acquired the village from Mikuláš Něpr. In 1576 the owner of the Namiescht estate , Johann d. Ä. from Žerotín († 1583), the village to the estate Batouchovice . In 1790 there were 22 houses in Hroznatín, the village had 136 inhabitants.

In 1842 the village of Hrozniatin or Hroznětin , located in Jihlava district , consisted of 26 houses in which 154 people lived. The parish and school location was Rudikau . Until the mid-19th century was Hrozniatin the end connected to the Fideikommissgrafschaft Namiescht landtäflichen Good Batauchowitz servants.

After the abolition of patrimonial Hroznětín formed from 1850 a district of the municipality Rudíkov in the judicial district of Great Meseritsch . From 1869 Hroznětín belonged to the Groß Meseritsch district . In 1881 Heinrich von Haugwitz sold the large Batauchowitz estate to Adolf Lieblich and the brothers Heinrich and Ludwig Heller from Iglau . In 1887 the village formed its own political municipality, which was named Hroznatín . In 1890 the village had 170 inhabitants and in 1900 there were 167. In the 1921 census, 208 Czechs lived in the 33 houses of the community. In the course of the territorial reform and the repeal of the Okres Velké Meziříčí, the municipality came to the Okres Třebíč on July 1, 1960 . In 1964 Hroznatín was incorporated into Rudíkov. The community has existed again since 1991.
