history
Loukovice was first mentioned in a document in 1349. At that time, the owner was Vilém von Babice, who gave half of the villages of Babice , Martinice, Loukovice and part of Vesce as well as half of the church patronage to the Knights of the Cross with the Red Star . After this foundation he took his seat on Bolíkovice and called himself Vilém von Bolíkovice. In 1387 he sold his rule to Jaroslav von Sternberg and in 1437 they bought back the lords of Bolíkovice, who then called themselves again from Babice. In 1495 it was sold to the Lords of Bačkovice and from 1610 the Hrubčický of Čechtín became owners, who attached the Babice domain to Lesonice . The Haberner Steig, an important trade connection from Prague to Moravia , ran through Loukovice . Loukovice was parish to the Church of St. Trinity in Babice.
After the replacement of patrimonial Loukovice, which was last subject to the Sádek rule, from 1850 onwards became a district of the Čáslavice municipality in the Třebíč district . In 1885 the political municipality Loukovice was established. In 1900 a school was inaugurated, until then the children in Čáslavice had started school. At that time, 237 people lived in the 43 houses in the village. In 1921 Loukovice had 222 inhabitants. In 1948 the quarry on the Kocapila was resumed. In the same year, Klement Gottwald was made an honorary citizen of Loukovice.
