history
The first documentary mention of the village Slawittice , which belongs to the Benedictine monastery Třebíč , took place in 1353. A part of the place belonged to the lands of the Dalešice monastery, this share was acquired in 1375 by Jan von Holoubek. The name of the village is said to derive from the Slavata family . Other owners of the secular share were the mint master Martin von Jamnitz , the Counts of Hardegg and Smil of Doubravice and Osové . The Lords of Arkleice also acquired the Trebitsch monastery share in 1454 and had a fortress built in 1503, which was extinguished in the Thirty Years' War . In 1590 the knights Jankovský von Vlašim acquired the rule. Subsequently, the owners often changed. The Slavětice landlords included u. a. the Sedlnitzky von Choltitz, the lords of Náchod , the counts of Thurn and Taxis , of Liechtenstein-Kastelkorn and of Daun. Heinrich Graf Daun joined Slawietitz in 1736 to the Dalleschitz rule . In 1775 the village consisted of 38 houses. Until the abolition of patrimonial rule , the gentlemen von Diller-Hess and Georg Simon von Sina followed .
In 1850 Slavětice became a municipality in the Krumlov district . In 1881 the brewery entrepreneur Anton Dreher junior acquired the goods in Slawietitz. He was expropriated in 1921. Since 1950 the community belongs to the Okres Třebíč .
