Smil Osovský z Doubravice (* before 1572; † February 13, 1613 ) was a Moravian nobleman from the Osovští z Doubravice family .

Smil was the last descendant of the lords of Doubravice near Blansko . Among other things, he owned the village of Střítež , which he had inherited from his father Burian Osovský z Doubravice and gave in 1572 to his first wife Blanka z Žerotína .

He belonged to the Bohemian Brothers Union and supported their armies in Třebíč . In 1589 he was appointed King's Council and from 1597 to 1604 he was in charge of the office of Supreme Judge in Moravia .

He made a name for himself as an active and skilful diplomat and supported Maximilian in his efforts to secure the Polish throne. He wrote down his experiences and thoughts in his diaries. He also made a collection of Moravian court judgments (1575 to 1610).
