Ilona Dörr

Ilona Dörr (born December 7, 1948 in Bürstadt ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

education and profession

After graduating from secondary school and the Mannheim Administration and Business Academy, Dörr worked as an employee in the upper class for the municipality of Biblis .

She is Catholic, married and has one daughter. She lives in Hirschhorn (Neckar) .

politics

Ilona Dörr has been a member of the CDU since 1975. There she worked in various board positions, since January 2002 as deputy chairwoman of the CDU district executive in Bergstrasse .

From 1990 to 1999 she was mayor of the city of Hirschhorn (Neckar) until her election to the state parliament. Since the local elections in March 2001, she has been the head of the city council.

From 1989 to 1990 Dörr was an honorary district member, since 1993 a member of the district council and deputy CDU parliamentary group leader.

Furthermore, Dörr has been the district chairwoman of the CDU Local Political Association (KPV) and a member of the KPV state board since 1997 .

From 1999 to 2008 she was a member of the Hessian state parliament for constituency 55 Bergstrasse-Ost . She was chairman of the hardship commission at the Hessian Minister of the Interior and for Sport since 2005, chairwoman of the petitions committee since April 5, 2003 and member of the council of elders, budget committee and social policy committee.

Honors

In 2010 she was awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany with the Order of Merit .
