Naloučany (German Nalautschan ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located three kilometers north of Náměšť nad Oslavou and belongs to the Okres Třebíč .
geography
Naloučany is located below the junction of the Jasinka on the left bank of the Oslava in the Jevišovická pahorkatina ( Jaispitzer hill country ) in the south of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . To the northeast rise the Kobelčiny (457 m nm).
Neighboring towns are Čikovská Myslivna, Jasinka and Čikov in the north, Důl Pucov, Jasenice and Pucov in the north-east, Jinošov in the east, Jedov , Otradice and Jedovský Mlýn in the south-east, Náměšť nad Oslavou , Padrtův Mlýn and Víšěvům in the south in the southwest, Ocmanice in the west and Zahrádka , Naloučanský Mlýn and Vaneč in the northwest.
history
Naloučany was first mentioned in writing in 1238, when the knight Clement gave the village to the Cistercian abbey of Porta Coeli . King Wenceslas I confirmed ownership of the monastery in 1240. Since the village was remote from the other monastery properties, the Cistercian women sold it. In 1360 Naloučany belonged to the estates of John of Meziříč. In 1436 two mills - "nad Nalúčany" and "pod Nalúčany" - were mentioned. When the Lords of Krawarn sold the Namiescht castle lordship to Matthäus Schwanberg von Skrziwin in 1437 , Nalouczan was already part of them. In the course of this purchase, the parish church of St. James first mentioned. Another mill, the Maněk Mill ( Maňkův mlýn ), can be traced back to 1545. The parish of Naloučany became extinct after 1628. The mill "nad Nalúčany" no longer existed after the Thirty Years' War. From 1752 the Namiescht domain belonged to the Counts Haugwitz .
In 1842 the village of Nalautschan or Nalaučany , located in the narrow valley in the Znojmo district, consisted of 42 houses in which 300 people lived. In the village there was the daughter church St. Jakob and an inn. The Jassinker mill was on the side. The parish was Namiescht. Until the middle of the 19th century Nalautschan remained subject to the Fideikommissgrafschaft Namiescht.
After the abolition of patrimonial formed Naloučany / Nalautschan 1849 a district of the market town Namiest in the judicial district Namiest . In 1850 the entire village burned down. In 1862 a community school was founded. From 1869 Naloučany belonged to the Trebitsch district. At that time the village had 357 inhabitants and consisted of 43 houses. In 1872 Naloučany broke away from Namiest and formed its own community. In 1900 there were 337 people in Naloučany; In 1910 there were 320. In 1907 a limestone quarry was built in the “Na Vápených” corridor. Red granite was mined in the parish in the corridor "V červené skále". a. used for the local memorial to the fallen and for those in Čikov , Předín and Třebíč . In the 1921 census, 346 Czechs lived in the 51 houses of the community. In 1930 Naloučany consisted of 59 houses and had 294 inhabitants. Between 1930 and 1940 the company “Serpentinia” from Ocmanice operated the “Na Vápených” limestone quarry. Another limestone quarry operated by Josef Přichystal until 1932. In the years 1938–1947, "Serpentinia" mined Ortho-Amphibolite in another quarry. Between 1939 and 1945 Naloučany / Nalautschan belonged to the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia . In 1948 the municipality was assigned to the Okres Velká Bíteš. In 1950 Naloučany had 248 inhabitants. In the course of the territorial reform and the repeal of the Okres Velká Bíteš, the municipality was assigned to the Okres Třebíč on July 1, 1960 . In 1974 the road bridge over the Oslava to Ocmanice was built , before both villages were only connected by a pedestrian bridge. At the beginning of 1980 it was incorporated into Náměšť nad Oslavou, and since August 1, 1990, the municipality of Naloučany has existed again. At the 2001 census, 133 people lived in the 72 houses in Naloučany.

Attractions
- Church of St. James the Elder, it was built in the 14th century and was first mentioned in 1437. In 1707 a reconstruction took place in which the wooden bell chamber was replaced by a brick one. A side chapel was added in the middle of the 18th century. After the fire of 1850, the destroyed tower was not restored to its old height, the side chapel was converted into a sacristy. In 1903 the church tower was given a roof again. A Gothic core has been preserved inside. The altarpiece shows James the Elder and is the work of the Viennese painter G. Thomas from the end of the 18th century. After the irreparably worn organ was dismantled in 1909, the Count's valet Báňa from Frauenthal, Switzerland, donated a new organ in 1915.
