Stefanie Beate Kasperski (born July 2, 1967 in Hamburg ) is a former German basketball player .

career

Kasperski, who measures two meters, took part in the European Junior Championships in 1984 and 1986 with the selections of the German Basketball Association . At the European Championships in Italy in 1984 she was the Germans second-best scorer with 7.6 points per game, and third-best in 1986 with 7.0 / game. Between July 1985 and May 1990 she played 37 A-internationals for the FRG, her highest point (15) she achieved in May 1990 against France .

From the 1986/87 season to 1989/90 Kasperski played at the University of Oregon in the United States , where he studied biology . As a result of her biology studies at the University of Oregon, Kasperski later earned a degree in molecular biology at the same university and obtained an additional qualification in human genetic counseling in New York . She served in a senior position at the Prenatal Diagnosis and Treatment Center at the Children's Hospital in Philadelphia .
