In 1480 Johann von Bezděkow took over the share inherited from his father from Jedov to John von Chlewsko, who became the owner of the entire village and left it to Dorothea von Žerawic. The Jedov fortress was mentioned for the only time in a document. Even before 1500 Jedov was added to the Kralitz estate . In 1521 Jedov was separated from the Kralitz estate and sold to the owner of the Namiescht estate , Wenceslaus von Lomnitz.

In 1837 the village Jedow or Gedow , located on a hill in the Znojmo district, consisted of 26 houses in which 199 people lived. The Neumühle on the Oslawa was conscripted to Jedow with a board saw.
