Přeckov (German Przeczkau , 1939–45 Pretzkow ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located eight kilometers north of Třebíč and belongs to the Okres Třebíč .

geography

Přeckov is located in the Křižanovská vrchovina ( Krischanauer Uplands ) in the south of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . The village is on the left side of the Přeckovský creek, which feeds the Horní Přeckov pond above Přeckov and the Podlipský rybník below. To the north rises the Bukový Kopec (600 m nm), in the south the Ostrá hora (496 m nm) and to the west the Jelení hlava (617 m nm). The municipality is part of the Třebíčsko Nature Park.

Neighboring towns are Hroznatín and Nový Telečkov in the north, Vlčatín and Rudíkov in the Northeast, Věterák, Obora and Budišov the east, Novy Dvur, Nárameč and Valdíkov the southeast, Trnava and Pocoucov in the south, Budíkovice and Okřešice in the southwest, Vartemberk and Cervena Lhota in the West as well as Kukla, Čechtín , Věstoňovice and Horní Vilémovice in the north-west.

history

The first written mention of the village was in 1360 in connection with Zdislav von Přeckov. Was Přeckov at that time a landtäfliges Good with a Fixed whose owners changed often. In 1495, Johann von Lomnitz acquired the Přeckov estate and added it to his rule Meziříčí . At the beginning of the 17th century the village consisted of 13 properties, a parish drying hut ( Pazderna ) and a shepherd's house ( Pastouška ) as well as a bell tower with the image of St. Trinity. In 1790 the village had 121 inhabitants and consisted of 19 houses.

In 1842 the village Přetschkau or Přečkow , located in the Jihlava district , consisted of 26 houses in which 177 people lived. Přetschkau comprised 12 farms and 14 cottagers . There was an inheritance court in the village , the festivals and the court were no longer active. The parish and school location was Rudikau . Until the middle of the 19th century, Přetschkau remained subject to the Meziříčí rule.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Přečkov / Przeczkau 1849 a district of the municipality Rudíkov in the judicial district of the United Meziříčí . From 1869 Přečkov belonged to the Great Meseritsch district . At that time the village had 174 inhabitants and consisted of 27 houses. In the 1870s Přečkov broke away from Rudíkov and formed its own community. In 1900 there were 149 people living in Přečkov ; In 1910 there were 146. At the beginning of the 20th century the place name was changed to Přeckov . At the 1921 census, 140 Czechs lived in the 31 houses in the village. In 1930 Přeckov consisted of 30 houses and 152 inhabitants. Between 1939 and 1945 Přeckov / Pretzkow belonged to the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia . After the end of the Second World War, some families moved to the border areas . In 1950 the village had 125 inhabitants. During this time the farmers were forcibly collectivized and the land was assigned to the Křižanov state estate . In the course of the territorial reform and the abolition of the Okres Velké Meziříčí, the municipality was assigned to the Okres Třebíč on July 1, 1960 . As a result, the agricultural land was assigned to the Třebíč State Estate and from 1973 to the SS Oseva in Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou . In the 2001 census, 64 people lived in the 27 houses in Přeckov.

  • Chapel of St. Trinity on the village square, it was created at the beginning of the 19th century through the reconstruction of the bell tower. There is a high stone cross in front of the chapel.
