Batouchovice (German Batauchowitz also Batouchowitz ) is a district of the municipality Bochovice in the Czech Republic . It is located ten kilometers southwest of Velké Meziříčí and belongs to the Okres Třebíč .

geography

Batouchovice is located in the Křižanovská vrchovina ( Krischanauer Uplands ) in the south of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . The village is located on a left tributary to the Bochovický creek in the area of ​​the Třebíčsko Nature Park. To the east rise the Telečkov (604 m nm) and the Na Hlavinách (606 m nm) and southwest of the Bochovec (604 m nm).

In 1399 Johann and Dorothea von Patuchowitz were mentioned as owners of various shares. After the destruction of the Třebíč monastery, the after fief Batouchovice was pledged together with the monastery property. In 1842 the village of Batauchowitz or Batuchowice in the Iglauer Kreis consisted of 9 houses in which 51 people lived. In 1930 Batouchovice consisted of 17 houses and 80 inhabitants. Between 1939 and 1945 Batouchovice / Batouchowitz belonged to the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia . In 1950 Batouchovice had 86 inhabitants. In the course of the territorial reform and the repeal of the Okres Velké Meziříčí, the village came to the Okres Třebíč on July 1, 1960 . In 1961 the reorganization to Bochovice took place . In the 2001 census, 62 people lived in the 20 houses in the village.
