Zálesná Zhoř (German Salesna Shorsch , also Zhorz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located six kilometers southeast of Velká Bíteš and belongs to the Okres Brno-venkov .
geography
Zálesná Zhoř is located in Bobravská vrchovina on the right bank of the Bílá voda brook, which rises north of the village. The village is surrounded by forests on all sides. To the east rises the Prachová (530 m), at the southern foot of which lies the source of the river Bobrava. North of Zálesná Zhoř, the D1 / E 55 / E 65 motorway runs through the forest; the next exit 168 Devět křížů is one and a half kilometers north near Lesní Hluboké , there is no direct connection there. To the northeast is the Devět křížů motorway maintenance depot and police station.
Neighboring towns are Přibyslavice , Otmarov, Devět Křížů and Radoškov in the north, Lesní Hluboké and Šmelcovna in the Northeast, Javůrek , Domašov and Rudka in the east, Zhořský Dvůr and Litostrov the southeast, Zbraslav in the south, Újezd u Rosic , Příčnice and Stanoviště in the southwest, Krokočín and Ludvíkov in the west and Košíkov and Janovice in the northwest.
history
The first written mention of the place took place in 1358. The parish was Zbraslav and since the 16th century also a school location .
After the abolition of patrimonial Zhoř formed from 1850 a district of the municipality Zbraslav in the Brno district. From 1878 Zhoř belonged to Stanoviště as a district . In 1900 the place came to the district of Velké Meziříčí and gained independence in 1907 under the name Zálesná Zhoř . In 1911 a village school was inaugurated in Zálesná Zhoř. After its abolition, Zálesná Zhoř came to Okres Brno-venkov in 1961. 1980 Zálesná Zhoř was incorporated into Zbraslav. The community has existed again since 1990.
On Midsummer Day in Zálesná Zhoř a pilgrimage takes place.
