history

The village was probably founded on Hradisko Square at the beginning of the 14th century . There may have been a fortress here. The first written mention of Ynyn took place in 1341. Since 1349 an allodial farm can be found on the Hradisko. At that time four hubs in the village belonged to the Lords of Trmačov. The oldest news about a pastor in Unín comes from 1371. In 1718 the place was called Unin , two years later as Hunin . Before 1778 the village children were taught by the sexton. In 1779 a two-class school was set up in the village, to which the children from Bukovice, Hluboké , Hájek, Jamné and Rohozec were also enrolled. The old wooden church was demolished in 1789 and the construction of a larger, stone church began the following year.

After the abolition of patrimonial Hunín formed from 1850 a municipality in the district authority of Brno . From 1888 on, schools opened in the neighboring villages, so that only the Hunin children attended the school. Since 1896, Hunín has belonged to the newly formed district of Tischnowitz . At the end of 1899, the old cemetery on the north side of the church was closed, and since 1900 it has been removed 300 m north of the village in the new cemetery. The municipality has been called Unín since 1924 . In 1960, the army built barracks on the Střela to accommodate a missile department. The entire forest areas on the Unín and Hluboké corridors were confiscated and transferred to the MO Vojenské lesy Plumlov military forestry company . Later blocks of flats were built in Unín for the professional soldiers. After the dissolution of the Okres Tišnov, Unín came to the Okres Blansko at the beginning of 1961 . In 1976 Unín was forcibly incorporated into Rohozec together with Hluboké Dvory , Zhoř and Bukovice . In the 1980s the school was closed. In 1990 the Unín community was rebuilt. At the end of 1990 the missile division was abolished and the confiscated forests were returned to the communities. In 2005 the municipality of Unín received the former military facility as a gift. After that, the 8 hectare enclosed area was leased as a game reserve and the built-up part to local companies and the Brno Military History Club. Since the beginning of 2007 the municipality belongs to the Okres Brno-venkov .
