history

The first written mention of the place comes from the year 1320. Owners were the Pernsteiner , later the lords of Kunstadt . In 1353 Hroch von Kunstadt signed the interest income from Malhostovice and Horní Loučky to his wife Margarethe von Sternberg as personal items . Since the end of the 14th century, Malhostovice was a parish. The last time a pastor was mentioned in Malhostovice in 1532, in 1591 the parish was considered extinct. Between 1658 and 1702 the village was parish to Lomnice . After the establishment of the Drásov local chaplaincy , Malhostovice was assigned to it in the 1780s.

After the abolition of patrimonial Malostovice formed from 1850 a municipality in the Brno district and judicial district Tischnowitz . In 1857 the church tower burned down and the bells fell down. Since 1896 Malostovice belonged to the newly formed district of Tischnowitz. The village has been called Malhostovice since 1923 . After the dissolution of the Okres Tišnov, the municipality came to the Okres Brno-venkov at the beginning of 1961 , at the same time Nuzířov was incorporated.
