Zdislav von Schellenberg sold Branyschowicz in 1360 for three shock groschen to Jan, the burgrave of Eichhorn and his wife Anna. Part of the village belonged to the Deblín rule since 1415 . In 1466 this part was sold by Braníškov together with the Deblín manor to the city of Brno . In 1504 the entire village became subject to Deblín. Subsequently, Braníškov was connected with the Deblín estates to the rule Kuřim , where it remained until the middle of the 19th century. In 1793 the village consisted of 14 houses and had 74 inhabitants. In 1839 there were 18 houses in Braníškov, in which 90 people lived. Between 1842 and 1846 the road from Veverská Bítýška to Deblín was built.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Branškov 1850 a municipality in the district administration of Brno and the judicial district Tischnowitz . The children from Branškov started school in Maršov in 1865 . The village has been called Braníškov since the end of the 19th century . In 1896 the village was assigned to the newly established district administration of Tischnowitz . The village had grown to 39 houses in 1900 and had 230 inhabitants. In 1905 a one-class village school was established. In 1950 Braníškov had 219 inhabitants. After the Okres Tišnov was abolished, Braníškov became part of the Okres Brno-venkov at the beginning of 1961 . The school was closed in 1964 due to the low number of students. The school location was initially Maršov, the school there was closed in 1975 for the same reason and the children were retrained to Deblín.
