After numerous changes of ownership, the monastery acquired the farm back in 1707. In 1674 the village consisted of a farm and a cottage industry . In 1782 the monastery was closed by Emperor Joseph II as part of the Josephine reforms. The Vorwerkshof was parceled out in 1786 and the shares were sold. At that time there were 24 houses in Železné, in which 152 people lived. In 1843 the village had 216 inhabitants.
