Lomnička (German Lomnitschka , 1939–45 Klein Lomnitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located two kilometers north of Tišnov and belongs to the Okres Brno-venkov .

geography

Lomnička is located at the transition from the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands to the Boskowitz furrow . The village lies in a basin at the confluence of the Lomnička brook in the Besének. The Svratecká Hornatina Nature Park extends to the north. To the northeast rise the Rejholec (449 m) and the Kopanina (462 m), in the east the Stanovisko (484 m), south the Čimperek (345 m), in the southwest the Malá skála (387 m), Květnice (469 m) and Dřínová (379 m), west of the Dranč (407 m) and in the north-west the Jahodná (532 m) and Lysá (455 m).

Neighboring towns are Šerkovice in the north, Jamné, Hájek and Hajánky in the northeast, Samotín and Stanovisko in the east, Železné in the southeast, Tišnov in the south, Předklášteří , Mezihoří, Střemchoví and Dolní Loučky and Dolní Loučky in the southwest, Štěpánéovice in the west, and Štěpánovice in the west Northwest.

history

The first written mention of the village Lomnice took place on June 12, 1235 in the deed of donation from the queen widow Konstanze to the Porta Coeli monastery, which she founded . Previously, Konstanze had compensated her son Margrave Přemysl with 100 pounds of silver for the village he originally owned. With the on August 27, 1235 in Perugia by Pope Gregory IX. Lomnice was confirmed as a monastic property on the basis of the confirmation certificate issued by the monastery . Since that time the place has always belonged to the property of the monastery, which maintained a Vorwerkshof here. Over time, the village was called Lominiz , Lomniczka and Lomnitschka . In 1782 the monastery was abolished in the course of the Josephine reforms by Emperor Joseph II and its property was placed under the administration of the Bohemian crown. The Porta Coeli estate was sold to Wilhelm von Mundy in 1799 . In 1793 the village consisted of 26 houses and had 255 inhabitants. In 1821 Johann von Mundy sold the rule to Friedrich Schell von Wittinghoff. In 1839 there were 241 people in Lomnitschka.

After the abolition of patrimonial Lomnitschka formed from 1850 a municipality in the Brno district and judicial district of Tischnowitz . In 1861 the St. Marienthal monastery acquired the property from the widow Schell. In 1869 the village had 456 inhabitants. Since 1896 the community belonged to the newly formed district of Tischnowitz. The municipality has been called Lomnička since 1924 . In 1930 the village consisted of 69 houses and had 371 inhabitants. After the dissolution of the Okres Tišnov Lomnička came to the Okres Brno-venkov at the beginning of 1961 . Between 1980 and 1990 the village was incorporated into Tišnov. The community has had a coat of arms and a banner since 2000. In 2007 Lomnička consisted of 140 houses and 430 inhabitants. The abstract painter Petr Kvíčala lives in Lomnička and his studio is in Brno .

  • Chapel of St. Friedrich von Utrecht, built in 1852 at the expense of Friedrich Schell von Schellenberg instead of a late Baroque predecessor from 1752. The old chapel was built on a fountain.
