history

Place view

The first written mention of the village of Jezdrojovice , which belonged to the Veveří castle lordship , took place in 1402. In Jezdrojovice there was a manorial farm, to which the villages of Hlinka, Habeš and a Hube from Žebětín were also subject. Hlinka and Habeš later fell desolate. Over time the name of the village changed to Rozdrojovice.

After the abolition of patrimonial Rozdrojovice formed a municipality in the Brno district from 1850. During the Second World War, between 1940 and 1943, construction work was carried out on the Reichsautobahn Vienna – Breslau, which was to lead past Rosdrojowitz to the east. Between 1921 and 1947 the village belonged to the Okres Brno-venkov, then to the Okres Brno-okolí. Since 1961 Rozdrojovice is part of the Okres Brno-venkov again .
