The village was first mentioned in writing in 1353, when the wife of Nepokoj von Rojetín, Jitka, sold the Rojetín farm and its accessories to Hynko von Olší and his son. They sold three farms in the village to the pleban Peter von Tasov . The oldest local seal dates from 1749 and is called Diedina Roetin . In 1791 the village consisted of 21 houses and had 152 inhabitants. In 1839, 220 people lived in the 24 houses in Rojetín. In Rojetín there was a court of the Ossowa manor . Subordinate to this was a hunter who subordinated the forests between Rojetín Víckov and Nová Ves . A distillery and sheep farm was attached to the manor house.
After the abolition of patrimonial Rojetín formed from 1850 a municipality in the Brno district and judicial district of Tischnowitz . Since 1896 the community belonged to the newly formed district of Tischnowitz. In 1900 the village had grown to 32 houses. The population consisted of 257 Czechs, all of whom were Catholic. In 1921 there were 36 houses in the village. At that time there were 248 Czechs, as well as a German and a foreigner, living in Rojetín. All but one were Catholics. After the dissolution of the Okres Tišnov, the village came to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou at the beginning of 1961 . The sheep farm subsequently went out. The hunting lodge was attached to Víckov.
