history

The village was established in the 2nd half of the 13th century near the Lúčka Castle. It is assumed that the castle existed before the German colonization and therefore did not receive a German name. Lúčka Castle, including the village and the church in Lúčka, has been traceable since 1236 and was initially primarily a refuge for the Lords of Deblín when there was a threat of war. Later it belonged to the Hartlik von Loutschka. When the Mongol hordes invaded the area in 1241, including the Porta Coeli monastery, which had recently been founded, was devastated. Between 1292 and 1322 Vítek von Loutschka can be traced as the owner of the estate. In 1322 this branch of the Deblín family died out with him and the inheritance fell to the lords of Kunstadt . The coat of arms of the Kunstädter also forms the basis of today's local coat of arms. The castle, which was partially destroyed in the Hussite Wars , existed until the 2nd half of the 15th century and then became completely extinct. In 1519 Loutschka became part of the Porta Coeli rule .

After the abolition of patrimonial Dolní Loučka formed from 1850 a municipality in the Brno district and judicial district Tischnowitz . Since 1896 the village belonged to the newly formed district of Tischnowitz under the name Dolní Loučky . In 1939 the construction of the double-track main line from Brno to Havlíčkův Brod began south of the village . With the outbreak of the Second World War, the construction work was stopped. The completed tunnels served between 1944 and 1945 under the code name Diana as UVO for the German armaments industry. In 1953 the railway line was finally completed. After the dissolution of the Okres Tišnov Dolní Loučky came to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou at the beginning of 1961 . At this time, the incorporation of Střemchoví took place. Since the beginning of 2005 the municipality belongs to the Okres Brno-venkov .

Of the 1108 inhabitants, 991 lived in Dolní Loučky and 117 in Střemchoví in 2001.
