Zahrada (German Sachrada ) is a district of the municipality of Kaly in the Czech Republic . It is located six kilometers northwest of Tišnov and belongs to the Okres Brno-venkov .
geography
Zahrada is located on the edge of the Boskowitz furrow on a ridge between the valleys of Svratka and Loučka in the basin of the Kalský creek. The Babylon (505 m) rises to the north and the Křivoš (464 m) to the southeast.
Neighboring towns are Borač and vrby in the north, Veseli, Brusna and Řepka in the Northeast, Nové Štěpánovice and Štěpánovice the east, Předklášteří the southeast, Střemchoví and Dolní Loučky in the south, Horní Loučky in the southwest, Vrbka in the west and Kaly in the northwest.
history
The first written mention of the village Zahradka took place in 1483. Since 1846 the place was also called Záhrada .
After the abolition of patrimonial Záhrada formed from 1850 a district of the municipality Štěpánovice in the Brno district and judicial district Tischnowitz . Since 1896 the village belonged to the newly formed district of Tischnowitz.
In 1948 Zahrada was reassigned to Kaly . After the dissolution of the Okres Tišnov, Zahrada came to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou at the beginning of 1961 . In 1991 the place had 118 inhabitants. In 2001 the village consisted of 36 houses in which 100 people lived. Since the beginning of 2005 the village belongs to the Okres Brno-venkov
