Žabčice (German Schabschitz ) is a municipality in the Okres Brno-venkov in the Czech Republic . The village is about 25 kilometers south of Brno .
history
The place was first mentioned in a document in 1356. Over the centuries the village belonged to the noble families Zierotin , Pernstein , Waldstein and Dietrichstein .
