history

The first written mention of the village Vochoz took place in 1390. The place consisted of two parts at that time. The iron hammer (Hamry) on the Schwarzawa and eight houses belonged to the Porta Coeli monastery , the two houses from Vápenky were subject to the Lomnitz rule. After the destruction of the monastery by the Hussites in 1425, the surrounding aristocrats seized the abandoned monastic properties. In 1436 the monastery was rebuilt, but the new owners did not voluntarily return the goods to the Cistercian women. Abbess Elisabeth IV complained in 1447 to the Moravian governor Heinrich von Leipa about Jan von Lomnice and demanded compensation for the usufruct of the villages of Běleč , Brumov and Ochoz. It was not until 1459 that the monastery was reassigned all goods and old rights by the new King George of Podebrady . Abbess Katharina von Šerkovice sued in 1464 for the surrender of the monastic estates and farms of Šerkovice and Tišnov against Markvart of Lomnice, who also still held the villages of Běleč, Ochoz and Žďár and the forests of Míchovec and Žďárna as illegal property. After another lawsuit, Markvart of Lomnice was sentenced in 1480 to return the villages including Broumov . During the uprising of the estates, the monastery was abolished in 1619 and its goods confiscated. At that time, the Cistercian women sought protection in the Pernštejn Castle . The monastery was rebuilt after the Battle of White Mountain . Until the abolition of the monastery in March 1782, Ochoz always remained subservient to Porta Coeli. In 1798 the Porta Coeli estate was sold to Wilhelm von Mundy . His son Johann sold the rule to Friedrich Schell von Wittinghoff in 1821. In 1839 Vochoz had 175 inhabitants. 169 of them lived in the 21 houses of the formerly monastic part, which included the six houses and the factory in Hamry. The Lomnica part Vejpustek had 16 inhabitants and consisted of two houses.

After the abolition of patrimonial Vochoz formed from 1850 a municipality in the Brno district and judicial district of Tischnowitz . Since November 1, 1896, Wochoz belonged to the newly formed district administration of Tischnowitz. At that time, most of the village's residents earned their living in the paper mill in Předklášteří and the textile mills in Tischnowitz, Lomnitz and Nedvědice . The school location was Lomnitz. In 1900 Wochoz consisted of 30 houses in which 201 people lived. All residents were Catholics and belonged to the Czech ethnic group. In 1921 the number of houses had increased to 31, while the number of inhabitants had decreased to 187. In 1925, the place name was changed to Ochoz by order of the Tišnov District Court . In 1928 the new road from Lomnice to Běleč was built. Between 1926 and 1932, Mayor František Merta had the connection road to Veselí fortified at the western foot of the Křídlová. After the end of the Second World War, the first car in the village was purchased in 1947, a Tatra 30 . Ten years later, three other residents bought a car. In 1951 the village was officially named Ochoz u Tišnova . After the dissolution of the Okres Tišnov Rašov came to the Okres Blansko at the beginning of 1961 , at the same time the district Prudká was annexed to the municipality of Borač in the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou . In 1962 there were 133 people in Ochoz. In the upper part of Vejpustka a fire water pond was created in 1972, which has since been used as a bathing water. In 1975 the Horácká bouda cultural center was established . In the same year, the Bělečský potok was regulated and its water was discharged in a tunnel to the Vír I dam at the beginning of the 1980s . In 1976 the village consisted of 34 houses and had 134 inhabitants. In the same year it was incorporated into Lomnice. On June 19, 1986, a flood caused severe damage. In 1990 Ochoz u Tišnova broke away from Lomnice and formed its own municipality. Since the beginning of 2007 the municipality belongs to the Okres Brno-venkov .
