Vratislávka (German Wratislawka ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located eleven kilometers north of Velká Bíteš and belongs to the Okres Brno-venkov .
geography
Vratislávka is located on the left above the Libochovka valley in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . To the northeast on the Bobrůvka are the desert castles Košíkov and Víckov. To the southeast are the remains of the Žďárec fortress on a spur above the Libochovka. In the east rises the Víckov (538 m), west of the Strážnice (583 m) and in the northwest of the Václavův kříb (534 m).
Neighboring towns are Moravecké Janovice in the north, Víckov and Havlov in the Northeast, Tišnovská Nová Ves in the east, Žďárec and Borkovec the southeast, Rojetín , Borovník and Rozseč in the south, Jeřábkův Mlyn and Vidonín in the southwest, Radňoves the west and Dolni Libochová , Meziboří and Borky in the north-west.
history
The first written mention of the place comes from the year 1358.
After the abolition of patrimonial Vratislavka formed from 1850 a municipality in the Brno district and judicial district Tischnowitz . At the end of the 19th century the parish name Vratislávka became common. Since 1896 the community belonged to the newly formed district of Tischnowitz. After the dissolution of the Okres Tišnov, the village came to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou at the beginning of 1961 . Since the beginning of 2005 the municipality Vratislávka belongs to the Okres Brno-venkov . The village is parish to the Church of St. Peter and Paul in Žďárec .

Attractions
- Chapel of the Virgin Mary, on the village square
- Remains of Košíkov Castle, built around 1360 as the seat of the Vladiken von Košíkov family. In 1427 Johann von Pernstein captured the castle. In the second half of the 15th century, Vojna owned by Litava Košíkov. When the property was sold to the Porta Coeli monastery in 1593, the castle was listed as desolate.
- Remains of the Víckov castle from the 13th century. It was the ancestral seat of the Víckov family. In 1419 Hašek Ostrožský von Waldstein bought the Víckov castle lordship. In 1425 the castle was destroyed during the Hussite Wars.
- Remains of the fortress Hrádek, in the bend of the Libochovka river southeast of the village, the former fortress was the seat of the Vladiks of Žďárec since the second half of the 14th century
