history

The first written mention of the village of Běleč, which belongs to the Porta Coeli monastery , was made in 1447 in a complaint by the abbess Elizabeth IV to the Moravian governor Heinrich von Leipa , in which she received compensation from Jan von Lomnice for the usufruct of the villages of Běleč that had been appropriated during the Hussite Wars , Brumov and Ochoz demanded. Běleč later became extinct. After the battle of the White Mountain , the Lomnitz rule established a new village at the Hegerhaus Běleč. It was placed under the lower jurisdiction of the Lomnick judge. Until the middle of the 19th century, Běleč always remained subordinate to Lomnitz.

After the abolition of patrimonial Bělč / Bieltsch formed a municipality in the Brno district and judicial district Tischnowitz from 1850 . Since November 1, 1896, Bělč belonged to the newly formed district administration Tischnowitz. Between 1912 and 1914 the construction of the road from Lomnice via Ochoz and Bělč to Doubravník took place under the direction of an Italian master builder. In 1921, 187 people lived in Bělč. The village has been called Běleč since 1923 . In 1926 the Bělečský potok was regulated. In 1931 the village had 220 inhabitants. On May 9, 1945 there was a battle between a unit of the Wehrmacht and partisans in Běleč . These attacked the German troops retreating from Lomnitz and asked them to surrender their weapons. After the partisans opened fire, which killed several members of the Wehrmacht, the Germans stopped their retreat and started a counterattack. Three houses in the village where the partisans were hiding were surrounded and set on fire. Several residents of Běleč were shot and all of the local men were herded into the village square for execution. The news of the Red Army marching on Ochoz drove the Germans to flee, taking some hostages with them. A memorial was erected in 1946 in memory of the murdered residents. In 1947 the village had more than 200 residents. In 1955 the construction of the road to Křeptov began. After the dissolution of the Okres Tišnov, Rašov came to the Okres Blansko at the beginning of 1961 , at the same time Křeptov, which had previously belonged to Křížovice, was incorporated. In 1975 the Bělečský potok was regulated. The water of the Křeptovský potok has been discharged into a tunnel to the Vír I dam since the early 1980s . Since the beginning of 2007 the municipality belongs to the Okres Brno-venkov .
