Úsuší (German Ausoschi ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located five kilometers southwest of Tišnov and belongs to the Okres Brno-venkov .

geography

Úsuší is located on the edge of the Boskowitz furrow in the basin of the Úsušský brook. To the north of the village lies the Loučka valley , to the northwest the Libochovka tributary and to the west the Blahoňůvka valley. In the north rises the Pasník (543 m), in the east the Nad Zámkem (476 m), southwest the Pohořilka (477 m), in the west the Žlíbky (496 m) and northwest the Mírová (476 m).

Neighboring towns are Dolní Loučky and Mezihoří in the north, Nelepeč in the northeast, Žernůvka in the east, Vohančice and Čížky in the southeast, Deblín in the south, Blahoňov in the west and Kuřimské Jestřabí , Falcov and Újezd ​​u Tišnova in the north-west.

history

The first written mention of Úsuší was in 1485.

After the abolition of patrimonial Ausoší formed from 1850 with the districts Čížek , Nelepeč and Žernůvka a municipality in the Brno district and judicial district Tischnowitz . From 1880 the places were called Ousoší and Čížek . Since 1896 the community belonged to the newly formed district of Tischnowitz. Nelepeč and Žernůvka broke up in 1921 and formed their own municipality. In 1923 the municipality was given the current name Úsuší . After the dissolution of the Okres Tišnov, the municipality came to the Okres Brno-venkov at the beginning of 1961 . The village after Deblín is parish.
