Nelepeč-Žernůvka , until 1995 Nelepeč , is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located three kilometers southwest of Tišnov and belongs to the Okres Brno-venkov .

geography

Nelepeč-Žernůvka is located in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . Nelepeč is located in the valley of the Bolehlávka and Žernůvka brooks a good kilometer southeast of it at the confluence of the Bolehlávka with the Závistka. To the northeast rises the Kozí brada (366 m), in the southeast of the Bačkovec (419 m), south of the Nad Zámkem (476 m) and in the northwest of the Pasník (543 m).

Neighboring towns are Předklášteří in the north, Tišnov in the Northeast, Závist the east, Hradčany and Březina in the southeast, Vohančice and Pejškov in the south, Čížky and Deblín in the southwest, Úsuší and kuřimské jestřabí the west and Falcov, Chytálky , Mezihoří and Dolní Loučky in the northwest.

history

The first written mention of the villages Nelepeč and Žernůvka, which belonged to the Deblín domain , was made in a register of the estate of Jan von Lomnice and Deblín from around 1390. The lords of Lomnice held the property until 1415 and then sold it to Archleb von Veteřov. The area was sacked during the Hussite Wars . At that time, the owners of the Deblín manor were the Lords of Boskowitz , who sold the manor to the royal city of Brno in 1466 .

After the abolition of patrimonial Nelepeč and Žernůvka belonged as districts to the municipality of Úsuší in the Brno district and judicial district Tischnowitz from 1850 . Since 1896 the villages belonged to the newly formed district of Tischnowitz. In 1921 the municipality of Nelepeč was established with the district Žernůvka. In 1930 the Congregation of the Sisters of Mercy of the 3rd Order of St. Francis under the protection of the Holy Family ( Congregace Milosrdných sester III. Řádu sv. Františka pod ochranou Svaté Rodiny ) founded a monastery in Žernůvka. After the dissolution of the Okres Tišnov, the municipality Nelepeč came to the Okres Brno-venkov at the beginning of 1961 . On April 1, 1995, the municipality changed its name to Nelepeč-Žernůvka . The village after Deblín is parish. The monastery building now serves as a retirement home.
