history

Přísnotice was probably founded in the 13th century. The oldest written report about the village belonging to the Rosa Coeli monastery was made in 1341, when Přísnotice was parish to the newly established parish in Unkovice . After the monastery was extinguished, its goods fell to the Bohemian Crown as pledged property in 1535. Ferdinand I sold Přísnotice including the desert village Želice in 1538 to the Vice Chancellor of the Kingdom of Bohemia, Jiří Žabka von Limberg. Burian Žabka sold the goods to Albrecht Černohorský von Boskowitz in 1566 . After his death in 1573 his brother Johann Schembera Černohorský von Boskowitz inherited the property. He sold Přísnotice in 1574 to Franz Graf von Thurn. Friedrich von Zierotin , who had acquired Přísnotice together with Smolín for 4500 guilders in 1590, struck both places of his rule Židlochovice . His heirs sold the rule to Adam von Waldstein in 1616 . At that time Přísnotice consisted of 43 houses. After the parish in Unkovice ceased to exist, the village was repared to Židlochovice in 1633. During the Thirty Years' War Přísnotice became deserted. In 1656, 29 properties were in desolation, in 1673 there were still 16 uncultivated. In 1790 322 people lived in the 52 houses in Přísnotice. In 1806 school lessons began in Přísnotice, before the children had been schooled to Hunkovice. In 1818 a large fire destroyed 40 houses. In 1845 36 houses, 13 barns and the bell tower on the village square burned down. In the following year, another 11 houses burned down. Until the middle of the 19th century the village was always subject to the Židlochovice rule.

After the abolition of patrimonial Přísnotice formed from 1850 a municipality in the district administration Auspitz and the judicial district Židlochovice. In 1859 the road from Žabčice via Přísnotice to Vranovice was built, before the village was only accessible via dirt roads. in the same year nine houses in the village burned down. A chapel was consecrated on the site of the bell tower in 1861. In 1864 a cemetery was built. The chapel was demolished in 1873 for the construction of a church. The following year a parish was established in Přísnotice, to which Žabčice belongs. A new school building was inaugurated in 1887. In 1890 the village consisted of 130 houses and had 767 inhabitants. In 1892 a second cemetery was laid out in Přísnotice for Protestant residents. In 1900, 773 people lived in the 158 houses in Přísnotice. In 1921 the place was hit by a flood of the Šatava and was one meter under water. The 1921 census counted 904 inhabitants, of which 866 were Catholics and 37 Protestants. The Šatava flooded its banks again in 1926, and the damage was even greater than five years earlier. In 1928 the population had grown to 1,042. Between 1948 and 1960 the municipality belonged to the Okres Židlochovice. After its abolition, Přísnotice was slammed into the Okres Brno-venkov . The municipality of Přísnotice has had a coat of arms and a banner since 2002.
