Újezd ​​u Černé Hory , until 1960 Újezd , (German Aujest , formerly Augezd ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is eight kilometers west of Blansko and belongs to the Okres Blansko .

geography

Újezd ​​u Černé Hory is located on a ridge between the Lubě and Lažánka valleys in the Boskowitz furrow . The Újezdský creek rises on the western edge of the village. The Brlůžky (438 m) rises to the east, the Společná hora (429 m) in the southeast and the Na Dílech (400 m) southwest.

Neighboring towns are Lubě and Malá Lhota in the north, Klučeniny and Závist in the northeast, Milonice in the east, Lažany and Nuzířov in the south, Skalička in the southwest, Stanovisko, Samotín, Hajánky and Hájek in the west and Unín and Hluboké Dvory in the northwest.

The first written mention of a pastor from Újezd ​​comes from 1308. However, it was built as a sanctuary of a noble family at the beginning of the 13th century. Around 1330 a fortress was established as the seat of a branch of the Lords of Tasov. Půta von Újezd ​​is the first of this line to come down to us. Čeněk von Újezd ​​followed in the period from 1350 to 1385. Later the Lords of Boskowitz acquired the goods and the aristocratic seat fell into disrepair. In 1740 the church and the rectory burned down. Reconstruction began ten years later.

After the abolition of patrimonial Újezd formed from 1850 a municipality in the district administration Boskovice . In 1878 the cemetery was redesigned. In 1948 Újezd ​​was assigned to the Okres Blansko . Since 1961 the municipality has had the official suffix u Černé Hory .

Újezd ​​u Černě Hory is a Catholic parish for the villages of Lažany, Lubě, Malá Lhota, Milonice, Skalička and Závist.

  • Parish Church of All Saints, it was built at the beginning of the 13th century in the Romanesque style. It burned down in 1744. In the years 1750 to 1754 it was rebuilt in the baroque style. The old Romanesque entrance portal has been preserved on the south side.
  • Remains of the fortress Újezd, west of the village above the confluence of the Újezdský potok and the Lubě. It was probably established around 1330 as the seat of the Půta Tas of Újezd. After the Újezd ​​estates were sold to the Lords of Boskowitz, it lost its purpose and fell desolate. Is received u. a. the stone bridge over the first moat.
  • The ruins of Trmačov Castle , west of the village, have been handed down as the seat of Vladike Ondřej von Trmačov since 1305 . The castle has been considered desolate since 1481. Remains of the wall of the keep are preserved.
  • Natural monument Krkatá baba, north of Újezd ​​an der Lubě, oak forest around a group of rock pillars made of reddish brecciated rock, it got its bizarre name from one of the rocks that resembles a human head with a long neck.
