history
The village was one of the many villages founded according to the Lhot system , whose settlers were exempt from duties and services to the authorities for a certain period of time. The first written mention of the place comes from the year 1351, when Heralt von Kunstadt gave it to Sudek von Veselí. In the same year he sold the village together with Kunice to Kuno von Kunstadt auf Lysice for his five sons.
Lhota arose from single-storey timbered wooden houses, which were grouped with the gable side around a large village square. This village square was later also built on.
