history
Settlement of the Křetínka Valley began in the first half of the 11th century. The village belonging to the Letovice lordship was first mentioned in writing in 1420. At that time the owners were the lords of Lomnitz. In 1447 the Letovič estates were halved. The Lords of Lomnitz received one half, while Eliškas von Ronow's second husband Milota von Tvorkov sold the other to Vaněk von Boskowitz . There was no separation, the Boskowitz and Lomnitzer owned half of the castle, the town, the villages and the forests. 1499 fell to the Boskowitz half of Letovice Ladislav von Boskowitz. He later bought half of Lazinov's share from Lomnica. Svítavice, which can also be traced back to the 15th century, had a resident in the 16th century. Over time the village was also called Lazonov , Lazenovice and Lažinov . In 1635 Svítavice was called desolate. In the hoof register of 1674 there are 16 properties for Lazinov. In 1790 156 people lived in the 19 houses in the village. The mill was located south of the village by the river. At the beginning of the 19th century a manorial weaving mill was built in the Křetínka floodplain. A number of houses called Stavení were built between the mill and Svítavice . In 1834 the place had 211 inhabitants and had grown to 35 houses. Lazinov always remained submissive to Letovice until the middle of the 19th century.
After the abolition of patrimonial Lažinov formed from 1850 a municipality in the district administration Boskovice . The place has been called Lazinov since the end of the 19th century . In 1900 Lazinov consisted of 42 houses and 352 inhabitants. After it was closed, the weaving mill was converted into a residential building. In 1930 the former weaving mill burned down and was then demolished. At the beginning of 1961 the community was assigned to the Okres Blansko . Between 1972 and 1976 the Letovice dam was built. For this, the lower part of the village, the Stavení settlement and the mill had to be removed. In addition to 32 houses, this also affected the syringe house and the transformer station. Most of the residents of the vacated houses were provided with replacement housing in Letovice. Since the road from Letovice to Křetín was also in the flooding area, it was re-routed on the right side above the reservoir at Vranová. As a result, Lazinov was cut off from all main roads connecting the surrounding villages. Between 1982 and 1992 Lazinov was incorporated into Letovice. Since 1999 the community has had a coat of arms and a banner. Lazinov today consists of 80 houses, 50 of which are permanently inhabited. The village has always been parish after Letovice.
