history

The Swinositse estate was first mentioned in writing in 1210 as a property of the Premonstratensian monastery Obrowitz; however, there are doubts about the authenticity of the document. Since 1349 there was a Vladikensitz in Swynoschicz . The Vladiken von Swynoschicz were feudal men of the Černohorský von Boskowitz and in case of war they were obliged to serve with a horse and a crossbow. A festival has been documented since 1373. The Svinošice estate also included the villages of Němčice and Srnávka, which became extinct in the 15th century. Srnávka was located in the forest area below the Maňová and Spálená skála hills. In 1410 Vaňek Černohorský had the robber baron Všebor expelled from Svinošice. The fortress was last mentioned in 1437, and it probably went out in the second half of the 15th century. After the Vladiken von Svinošice, the Vladiken families of Klečany, Rájec and Ozřetín followed as owners of the estate. In 1509 Jan von Hrochov sold Svinošice with the desert village of Němčice to the city of Brno , who added the estate to their rule Kuřim . In the 16th century the area was hit by a plague epidemic. During the Thirty Years War the Swedes sacked the village and burned it down. After the war ended, four of Svinošice's 13 properties, including the farm, were in desolation. The latter was cultivated again after 1670 and enlarged in 1728. In 1784 the yard was parceled out and eleven immigrant families from the Litomyšl area in Bohemia settled in its corridors .

After the abolition of patrimonial Svinošice formed from 1850 a municipality in the district administration Brno . When cholera broke out in 1851, 17 residents died within two weeks. In 1889 a one-class village school was inaugurated. The village bell erected in 1876 was consecrated in 1892. Since November 1, 1896, Svinošice belonged to the newly formed district administration of Tischnowitz . In 1926 a volunteer fire brigade was formed, which in the same year acquired a handheld fire tip. During the German occupation, the Gestapo arrested the headmaster Bohumil Vařílek on November 28, 1941 for being active in the resistance against the National Socialists. The municipality has belonged to Okres Blansko since 1950 . In 1959 the Mrchoviska outdoor pool was built. After the cessation of classes in 1963, the school was converted into a cultural center. The school location has been Lipůvka since then. After the old threshing floor was demolished, construction of a sports field began in its place in 1972. The parish is to Lipůvka.
